Batman Advices to Arrow by MexPirateRed Batman Advices to Arrow by MexPirateRed
The Dark Knight Trilogy fan fiction called Arrow:
  • It's realistic style in the style of Nolan but looks rather cheap about this.
  • The island flashbacks play linearly like both TDKT and Man of Steel.
  • Deathstroke basically plays Liam Neeson's role
  • Dinah Laurel Lance aka The Black Canary is playing the Rachel Dawes role unfortunately.
  • Diggle is a mix of Morgan Freeman's Lucius Fox and Michael Caine's Alfred.
  • The whole hostage situation on Christmas Eve plays exactly like Joker's various hostage scenarios in The Dark Knight particularly the one at the end.
  • The copycat archers is exactly like the beginning of The Dark Knight with Batman jumping in to one of his copycats.
  • Oliver is basically brooding which is odd because in the comics, he mocks Bruce about this.
  • The Earthquake/City wide destruction is basically Bane/League of Shadows/assassins in TDKR which in turns is based on two Batman comic story lines.
  • Count Vertigo is an exact copy of Cillan Murphy's Scarecrow particularly because he acts creepily which Murphy did so well but here its a bit dull.
  • He uses an funny voice.
  • The League of Assassins/Ra's Al Ghul mentioned which is odd.
  • Black Canary kills and almost echoes Nolan's Catwoman and Sin is basically Holly Robinson

I very much like the show, as coming from a Green Arrow fan. I even wrote a review in our school newspaper when the show first aired. I think it's a good show, mainly because it develops for people who have no clue who the Green Arrow is. It also adds in other significant characters like: Deathstroke, Cyrus Gold, Grundy, hell, I even saw an easter egg of Harley Quinn in the show.

I like it. I'm usually not into "realistic" or "grounded" versions of superheroes, but the show does a pretty good job of it.

Dude, compared to the New 52, this is actually light. At least this show has its more hopeful moments.

Son dare to talk badly of the thing that made Aquaman a best selling,
Well it only worked with Aquaman.
But at least isnt anti hero Aquaman and antihero movie universe.

Yeah... this is a common trope in bringing comic books to film, make everything dark and grim to make it "Realistic", in essence DC is making all their heroes be more like Batman. Green Arrow is now Batman, Superman is now Batman, Flash is now Batman... Why can't comics just be fun again.

Mos isnt even realistic, its just darker that The Dark Knight Trilogy, in TDK trilogy you have Lucius Fox and Alfred making jokes all over the movie, then you have The Joker and the guy is making fun of Batman all over the movie, Catwoman is making fun of Batman, i mean, this movie take itself too seriously.
DC being Batman Centric isnt a shock, the problem is that is getting more obvious.
I mean Clark Kent was darker and more serious that Bruce Wayne.
